January 3, 1661, in Krakow, the first issue of the first Polish newspaper titled “Merkuriusz Polski Ordynaryjny” was printed. The publisher was an Italian guy, settled in Poland, called Jerome Pinocci.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a contract from 60s, by which the United States renounced the right to represent its citizens in matters relating to the recovery of assets. Poland already paid compensations worth approximately 300 million current dollars.
